Both. A new system can be designed around how you live, with one app, remote or touch panel for TVs, music, lighting, shades, climate and security. Existing ELAN systems (ELAN is now part of Nice) can be serviced, updated and expanded, and older systems are evaluated to see whether a repair or an upgrade makes more sense.
Can smart home technology be added to an older home without tearing up the walls?
Usually, yes. Existing pathways, attic and crawl space access, and wireless products are used where they make sense. Every older home gets a walkthrough first, so you know what is practical before any work begins.
Do you work with builders and designers on new homes and remodels?
Yes. Pre-construction planning and prewire are coordinated with the builder, architect or designer so TVs, speakers, keypads and the equipment room land in the right places.
