Wi-Fi Fixes & Whole-Home Wi-Fi in Dallas
Wi-Fi that drops in the back bedroom, buffers on the TV or freezes on video calls is one of the most common reasons people call. Most of the time the internet plan is fine. The problem is how the Wi-Fi is set up inside the house. David AV fixes it so it works in every room, the backyard and the garage.
Sound Familiar?
Dead zones
Great signal next to the router and nothing in the primary bedroom, upstairs, the back office or the garage.
Buffering and lag
Netflix spinning, YouTube dropping to low quality and games lagging, even though you pay for fast internet.
Video calls freezing
Zoom and Teams calls that cut out, robotic audio, and getting kicked off in the middle of a meeting.
Mesh that didn’t fix it
You bought eero, Orbi, Google Nest or Deco, added extenders, and it’s still slow or keeps dropping.
Smart devices going offline
Ring and Nest doorbells, cameras, thermostats, Sonos and smart TVs that keep disconnecting or need re-pairing.
Nothing outside
No usable Wi-Fi at the pool, patio, outdoor kitchen, detached garage or guest house.
What Changes
Coverage that fits the house
Wi-Fi is planned around your floor plan, walls and outdoor spaces, so every room and the yard get a strong signal.
One network, no juggling
One Wi-Fi name that follows you room to room. No separate extender networks and no reconnecting.
Tested in every room
Every room is checked before the job is done, and calls are answered by David, not a call center.

Questions
Why is my Wi-Fi so slow when I’m paying for fast internet?
Usually the internet coming into the house is fine. The slowdown happens inside the house: the router is tucked in a closet or corner, the signal can’t get through walls and floors, or too many devices are fighting over one weak connection. Fixing the Wi-Fi inside the home is what makes the speed you pay for show up in every room.
Why does my Wi-Fi keep dropping in certain rooms?
Those are dead zones, spots the signal doesn’t reach well. Large homes, two-story layouts, brick and stone, and long distances from the router all cause them. The fix is coverage planned for your specific house, not just a stronger router.
I already have a mesh system like eero, Orbi or Google Nest. Why is it still bad?
Mesh systems work best when they’re placed and connected correctly for the house. Many are set up wherever was convenient, or stretched across more space than they can handle. Sometimes the existing equipment can be reused; sometimes it needs to be replaced.
Do Wi-Fi extenders actually work?
They can help a little, but they often cut speed and create a second network you have to switch between. For a home with real dead zones, a properly planned whole-home system works far better.
Should I call my internet provider or someone else?
Your provider is responsible for the connection to the house. If their speed test at the modem looks good but rooms are still slow or dropping, the problem is the Wi-Fi inside the home, and that’s what David AV fixes.
Why do my Ring doorbell, cameras and smart devices keep going offline?
Doorbells, cameras, thermostats and speakers are often at the edges of the house where Wi-Fi is weakest. When coverage reaches those spots reliably, the constant disconnects and re-pairing stop.
Can you get Wi-Fi to my backyard, pool or detached garage?
Yes. Patios, pools, outdoor kitchens, guest houses and detached garages are some of the most common requests, and they can be covered cleanly.
